I e tried to think of how to phrase this - you’ve hired a new office person. This person has a high standard of professional presentation but could use coaching in communication both on the phone and in person. Skills like - actually smiling at the customer makes them feel welcome in the building. Also don’t give an exasperates sigh when the customer needs to reschedule. Finally being proactive during the exchange. Like after the customer hands over their keys take the initiative to let us know the next step: you’ll be receiving texts with updates. Don’t make the customer ask and don’t give a blank stare when the customer asks what happens next. All these skills are important

I have a couple friends who were literally refused service at All City! I stuck with them anyway, since they were local. Meanwhile, I have another friend getting $11,000 worth of auto body work done on an old (1987) pick up at a shop 30 miles away. They have been thrilled with the friendly service, the tech who is calling to confirm style of parts and generally polite and cheerful accommodations for their vehicle. If I ever need body work again, I'll be more careful with my haste.

I chose All City because they were local. I thought it would be easy to have a friend or neighbor just pick me up when I dropped the car off. I "thought" it was an easy bumper remove and replace. I anxiously called to see if the repair was done- I missed the call/text from Roger. It was getting close to five, and the car was parked in the bright sunshine. I got home to realize the plastic grill part wasn't aligned properly. Roger graciously apologized and took it right in to repair. Didn't think to inspect at the shop. I mean after misaligning it once...another piece was misfit. It has to go BACK. The bottom painted piece didn't go back on when the bumper was removed to fix the top piece. Now there's a mounting tab exposed on the bottom plastic silver piece on the opposite side of the damage. The car is currently now in Eastern Washington with my sister. When it comes back on Friday, I'll be in.

The employees don't seem happy there. Gruff. Just a step short of rude, like I'm interrupting. Gals in the office weren't capable of scheduling a repair while Roger was on vacation. I have to mention, they were a bit more polite on revisits.
