The day that I picked up my vehicle, I was confronted about an amount you claimed I owed. As I explained at the time, the cost of repairs was to be handled directly between your shop and my insurance company. I ended up paying you more than I should have after you said not to worry, I would not need to pay anything out of pocket besides my co pay. You also said that if you did have to do any work that would not be covered you would get my approval first. Despite this, I was repeatedly told I was personally responsible for the disputed amount, which contradicts the information provided. I will never recommend your shop to anyone. What was most concerning, however, was the tone and behavior of your staff during this interaction. Rather than calmly reviewing the issue or contacting the insurance company to resolve the discrepancy, I was spoken to rudely and argued with in a confrontational manner. I was told I DONT CARE. This was unnecessary, unprofessional, and made an already frustrating situation significantly worse. I expect body shops to handle insurance-related billing issues directly with insurers, not place customers in the middle of disputes or pressure them for payment they do not owe.
