I received a call telling me the car was completed and ready for pickup. I went to get the car and Brad (my service rep.) told me he had driven it and it was ready to go. When I got in the car I noticed the parking brake lever was fully extended, I thought that unusual as the normal position for parking is maybe 1/3 extended. I decided to take it for a drive and check it out. As the car was slowly rolling I attempted to stop the car with parking/emergency brake. To my surprise it did not engage the brakes. My car has a standard transmission so I need the parking brake to work to secure the car when parking. I took the car back to caliber, found Brad and he said they would take care or it right away. It should be an easy fix and it should be done in about 40 minutes or so. So I waited and after about 40 minutes Brad told me it was fixed and I could go. I left caliber and checked the parking/emergency brake and I could tell it slowed the car when engaged, however I noticed that I still had to almost totally extend the parking brake lever. It was also very uncomfortable as I would hit my elbow against the rear consol when engaging the lever. So I took it back again and said this was unsatisfactory, they had to get the lever to engage the brakes much soon so I would not hit my elbow against the consol. I also informed that before the wreck I only had to use maybe 1/3 of the range of the lever to effect the brakes. Brad said ok they would adjust the brakes to get it correct. After a while someone came and got me from the waiting room and took me to the shop when thay were attempting to adjust the brakes. They told me they were unable to adjust the brakes because when I had been re-ended and the left wheel was ripped from part of the mounting it appeared it had stretched the brake cable and could not be adjusted. So they would order a new cable and when it arrived thay would call and I would need to bring the car back and leave it as it would take a few hours. They called me on the 18 and asked me to bring it in on Friday the 19 so I could be repaired. I did and they called me in the afternoon to say it was ready to go. I picked the car up, I noticed the lever was not all the way extended but most of the way but I thought I would drive it and see how it went. As I drove away I noticed a vibration as I shifted thru the gears when I was accerating theu 1800 to 2000 rmp. I drove it around for a bit and decided this was not right as the car did not do this before so I went back to Caliber and found Brad and asked if he had time for a quick ride. I took him out and demonstrated the vibrations and he said he could tell it was occuring. I took him back to Caliber and as it was Friday afternoon and they were busy would I come back Monday or Tuesday and they would fix it. He said he thought it would be an easy fix as he thought it was part of the heat shield that was removed to install the brake cable. So I will go back Monday or Tuesday and attempt to get
