My past experiences have been good, the work is top notch, but there have been two times where my vehicles have been held for much longer than I expected.

My car was hit by a driver with an "independent" insurance company which had low reviews on fulfilling their obligations. I went to Service King because I figured they were a larger company with the experience and leverage to handle an insurance company like this without any problems. The work on my car was finished in two days, but they held my car for two weeks after that because they weren't able to get the insurance company to pay the remaining $66 of the supplement. I had to spend hours on the phone with the insurance company, the appraisal company, the Service King shop, and eventually the Service King corporate office to figure out why the process was stalled and how to get things moving. If I hadn't kept pushing, there's no telling how long my car would have been stuck there. This is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by going to Service King.
