The people at the location were very kind and helpful. They fixed my car in a reasonable amount of time and I was able to drop off the rental car at the shop which made things much easier for me. The only reason I didn’t give a 10/10 is because one part of my new front bumper pops out every now and then. It’s not a huge issue bc I can just push it back in but I do wish that I didn’t have to check it every now and then. The lady that checked me out did say that I could come back any time if it becomes more of an issue and get it fixed for free so that is nice.

The actual work done on the car was fine. Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with the length of time it took to receive the car back once it was finished as there was a week delay in crash champions contacting USAA insurance for the supplemental bill for additional work. I dropped the car off September 23. USAA told me that Crash Champions was having technology issues and were having difficulty reaching out to USAA and were unable to communicate with USAA. And it was not until September 29th–30th that crash champions actually sent the supplemental form for the additional payment. Obviously my car would not be released until Crash Champions was paid in full, however that was an additional week that I did not have my car and the work had already been completed. I had given them plenty of notice that my husband would be out of town for two weeks and I actually needed the car back as soon as the work was finished. There were two obvious days during the hurricane risk that they were unable to work, however there was still one week in which there was a lack of communication with the insurance company which delayed the supplemental check being delivered so that I could receive my car back. After calling every day, I requested that since they were in no rush to get me the car back before my husband went out of town, I requested that the general manager have my car delivered to me as I could not get down to retrieve my car. In conclusion, the work done on the car was fine. I was disappointed with how long the delay was in getting my car back as the request for supplemental funds be paid to them was delayed by an entire week and therefore my finished car sat for a week on their lot because they hadn’t requested the supplemental check for additional work ahead of time as soon as they knew more work needed to be done. I was told on multiple days, “I’ll check on it and get back to you.” 3 days of not receiving an update phone call, I began to call multiple times a day to get updates. I was also told USAA was impossible to reach. I reached out to them twice by phone and was almost immediately connected to someone who was able to give me information on dates of communication between them and Crash Champions and was told when the electronic funds transfer check had been sent. I had no trouble obtaining information and making phone calls. I just feel I shouldn’t have had to do that as that was Crash Champions job. I would not recommend Crash Champions, not for the fact that they did not do a good job on the vehicle, but they did not take care of the business end and financial end in a timely manner and delayed returning my car for an entire week. I don’t know if the shop was closed on Monday for Columbus Day but I told them that they could deliver the car to me on Tuesday, but it needed to be before 230 as I had to go to school to pick up my child. I was told at 12 PM on Tuesday that they would be going out to lunch first and then maybe dropping off my car if they had time. I was in told they would not be able to be at my house by 2:30. By 10/12, I called and suggested I would leave the initial check that was sent to me by USAA, in an envelope under my front doormat and was hoping my car was in the driveway at some point Wednesday and they could pick up the check and drop off the key. At this point it was getting ridiculous. I asked for the GM to call me if this was not done on Wednesday. The car showed up today. I’m not impressed at all.
