The quality of the repair was good and Gentry was kind and professional. My feedback is more about the overall experience. I chose this body shop even though it’s almost an hour from my home because I associate the Lincoln brand with a higher level of customer care and communication. The maintenance department consistently delivers that experience, and this process just felt more transactional and less personalized than I expected. I think aligning the body shop experience more closely with the service department would make a big difference.

The repair work itself was very good and Gentry was super nice throughout the process. I think the main difference for me was the overall customer experience and communication cadence compared to what I’m used to with the maintenance department. The maintenance team consistently makes customers feel very valued and taken care of, and that same level of connection and attentiveness didn’t quite come through during my body shop experience. I actually chose the Lincoln Body Shop even though it’s almost an hour from my home because of the exceptional experiences I’ve consistently had with the dealership and maintenance team. Had I known the experience would feel more like a standard body shop process versus the elevated customer service I associate with Lincoln, I likely would have chosen somewhere closer for convenience. I know that sounds harsh, but I wanted to provide honest feedback because I do think highly of the dealership overall.
