The Front Office Staff is Phenomenal ✨💫 Those two Wonderful Ladies made a difficult experience Livable 💜. My car looks AMAZING so I am Very IMPRESSED with the Body shop and everyone who had a hand in bringing my car back to life. I would recommend DCC to anyone. This was my second time using Desoto Collision for vehicle repairs. One of the main reasons I chose the downtown location is its convenience to my workplace and rental car services. My previous experience was excellent—the work was completed in a timely manner, and both the staff and quality of repair were great. This time, the experience was decent overall. The staff remained helpful and transparent whenever I called, and the quality of work was acceptable. However, the process took much longer than expected—over 30 days for a repair to the rear taillight and bed. I understand the timing coincided with the Christmas and New Year holidays, which can cause delays, but the extended timeline was frustrating. A significant factor seemed to be the back-and-forth between my insurance provider (Allstate) and DCC for cost approvals. There were stretches where the vehicle wasn’t being worked on because it was waiting for adjuster approval. I had to follow up multiple times with both DCC and Allstate to keep things moving from paint to reassembly. When the repair was completed, I noticed subpar bodywork—pinholes in the body filler near the bumper. I was told I could bring the vehicle back for a few days to address this, but I’m concerned whether that would lead to another lengthy process. It raises questions about quality control and whether the rush to finish contributed to these issues. While I am in the auto business, I am not familiar with scheduling, staffing, and your parts supply chain and what is or isn't in stock for my vehicle or the overall collision repair. I understand things happen, and nothing is perfect. So I am trying to give an honest assessment from a customer standpoint. Thank you to all who worked on my vehicle and hope you have a great day.
