Don & Sons Body Shop is Ames #1 autobody shop and offers full service auto collision repair. We serve the Ames community, Iowa State community and surrounding areas within sixty miles of Ames. Our repair facility spans over four buldings and encompasses over 15,000 square feet of production space. We employ fifteen experienced and I-Car trained technicians, detail, estimators, and professional staff. Our goal is to provide high quality repairs to our customers and insurance companies. We provide a high level of customer communication throughout the repair process. Our company is a direct repair shop for many insurance companies and works with all companies. Efficiency, satisfaction and quality drive us through the processes every day. Don & Sons maintains a fleet of loaner vehicles available to our customers.

Work was completed in a simi decent amount of time. Been pulled over twice since getting my car back due to having a tail light out. Called the repair shop and was told it could be a few more months to get my car back in. There is still one spot that was missed with the repairs on the back bumper. Had to special order new back light bulbs to fix the brake light that’s is out because being pulled over daily is making me late for work

The only thing I didn’t like is I was not told prior to picking up the vehicle that if I used a debit card for payment I would have to pay 4% fee my deductible was already a financial burden I would have came with a different form of payment. But the work on my vehicle was done well
