There is still a part that needs to replaced as it is was on back order. Once that is done, I will be able to give a proper review. Thanks!

Gerber was very unprofessional with updates. They had initially quoted the job to be 12 days. The job ended up taking 30 days. At no point was I ever updated by them. Shortly after day 12, approx day 14, I called in for an update and was told it would be a few more days and they would call me. I was told the damage was way worse but not given any further information or update. Approx 1 week later I again called in and was told it should be done that day or the next day and was actually told not to call, that they would call me. No one called. Again the follwoing week, as I knew my rental coverage was ending soon, I called the rental company first. They told me that travelers had just sent them an email that they actually were no longer covering the rental, it would be covered by the garage. They said they would be forwarding that to the garage and give them some time and call. So I waited approx 2 hrs to call. This was the first time I spoke with anyone helpful. He was an assistant manager I believe but didn’t catch his name. He explained that the person who calibrates would be in the following day and the car should be done by end of day. I explained I worked at 3pm that day so he said they would call by 2 and if not, they would call Wednesday morning and rental would be covered until Wednesday if they did not complete car in time Tuesday. He also said I should have been getting text alert updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which I had received none in the entire month. Again no call Tuesday, I called first thing Wednesday and was told "oh didn't she call you yesterday, it was done." We went and picked up the car immediately. When we picked it up i asked for someone to update my husband on the damage since i had been told on a prior phone call the damage was much worse. I just wanted updated just in case we had any future problems so we knew what to expect. The employee initially came out very defensive and asked what we needed. I explained I just wanted them to go over the work done with my husband so we could be educated on what was done. She seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and did take a few minutes to address our question. It was frustrating to hear though that there was not really any more damage, it was that they were waiting on parts. I will say that was frustrating because my accidnet happened in late July and they were not able to take the car until the beginning of September and they told me that delay was because they wouldnt take the car until the parts were in. We struggled for over a month without a rental for what? I assumed waiting for parts as supply chains in general have been difficult since covid. They did update me that the rental was covered til end of day, so no concern that they didnt cover the extra day. I also was since updated by enterprise that the rental was covered and claim closed. When I did bring my car home, I discovered immediately that the truck would not open. I attempted to open using the keyless entry, the button on the trunk, and the button in the car. None worked. I called gerber and was first told they didn’t do work on the trunk. To which I told them that the trunk worked before I dropped it off and my guess was they didnt connect something up right (as the damage was to the front driver side). I did take it back and they did find the problem and correct quickly. Overall I was very disappointed with gerber, especially since this was Travelers preferred garage.
