The only reason I give a 9 is because they replaced the headlight casing on one side that was damaged but I wish they would’ve been able to call and ask if we wanted to self pay to do the other side. Other than that fantastic communication and super friendly every time I spoke with them.

The customer service from the staff at Gerber is impeccable. Their communication throughout the entire process is excellent. The rental car company picked me up. When my repair was complete, I picked up my car, and Gerber handled the rental return, making the process convenient. Quality work. I chose Gerber because we had worked on another vehicle at this shop, and it was excellent. They worked closely with the insurance company to manage the entire claim process. I also had extra work done while they had my car for the insurance claim. They made the process simple, and I was able to pay for those repairs independently of the insurance claim. The process was simple and convenient.

Communication often only happened by me calling to find out if my truck was ready. It took 5 weeks for them to complete the work and the estimated completion date was moved 4 or 5 times. Multiple times it was only moved when I called to find out if they were done. When I finally went to pick my truck up, the replaced head light assembly wasn’t working on low beam and the new bumper had a small dent. I live almost an hour from their shop so that was the better part of a two hour round trip to not be able to pick up my vehicle. Over all, I would never use them again.

Experience was horrible. They had my truck for 5 weeks. I live an hour from their shop and when I went to pick it up the new bumper was dented and the new headlight low beam didn’t work. Wasted two hours. They did not communicate and I had to call in every time just to find out my vehicle wouldn’t be ready again when they said it would be. I would never go there again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I originally came into the office asking for an estimate to be paid out of pocket. After consulting with my insurance company we changed it from out of pocket to my insurance. Whomever took my message that I gave the insurance company name and claim number failed to include the information on my file which made me 1 day late picking up my vehicle. Also, the tone of the customer service staff is rude at times and not willing to listen to the customer but getting louder explaining the procedures of the office
