First off, I started at the Springdale location, where they weren’t very friendly and were not helpful at all. When I went to the Rogers location, they were much more friendly and welcoming. I’m very disappointed, especially in regards to communication. I was told it would probably be Tuesday or Thursday before everything would be done. I had to call on Friday, where I found out that my windshield was being replaced, which was not in the estimate. I was told that the estimator was at lunch and would call me after he got back. I did not hear again from them until Monday afternoon an hour before they closed and they told me my car was done. They also told me that I would hear from them if there was a major price difference between the estimate and what it cost when they started working on it. My estimate was about $2,500. The total when I picked the car up was over $8,700. They also did not fix the paint chip on the hood, even though that is one of the main things I wanted fixed. I knew that there was a high chance there would be more to fix and the price could be higher but I was never told anything. I understand that sometimes insurance won’t cover something or somethings can’t be fixed under that category, but please just communicate that.

I brought my Subaru Crostrek in with a shattered sunroof (glass). I asked for an estimate for complete replacement of the sunroof. Not just the glass because I was advised that just replacing the glass would result in the sunroof no longer working properly due to tiny bits of glass being stuck in tracks. I was given an estimate of around $2100 to replace the entire unit. I moved forward with the repair. When I picked it up the sunroof was NOT replaced. The invoice was for $1300 and only the glass was replaced. I mentioned to the staff member who brought the car to me (I think it was Tim) that I was not happy with this. And explained why. He told me that they were very thorough in removing the shards of glass. And that there is a lifetime warranty on it and could bring it back in if there were any issues. After leaving I attempted to open the sunroof and although it did open and close the scratching of tiny bits of glass could be heard. I decided to just not use it. Last week I attempted to open the sunroof, hearing the same scratching noise, and the sunroof would not close back. I had to make several attempts before it finally closed. I request that this issue be repaired correctly. I will contact Gerber in order to get this scheduled.
