I don’t feel that the project was managed well. I was told that it would take 8-10 days to repair my vehicle. It took 15 days. Now, Christmas and New Year’s were in that period, however, I could tell from the alerts on my phone that my vehicle did not move for over a week. In fact, it wasn’t until after I called on the Monday after I dropped the vehicle off for a status report that it appeared that activity was happening on my vehicle and that was Wednesday. Also, I question the accuracy of the original estimate that I received. I understand that often items are found that can’t be seen from the outside. However, I am not aware of any significant items being found. The actual final bill was almost 40% more than the estimate. This caused more scrutiny by my insurance company which in turn delayed the payment process which delayed the delivery of my vehicle. It was a very painful and stressful process. Some fault rests with my insurance company but much of it rests on Grand Collision.
