Post-repair concerns: • The rear bumper installed is an aftermarket part. • The plastic step pad is misaligned and does not sit flush. • There are uneven gaps between the plastic and chrome sections. • The center portion of the bumper sags downward near the hitch area. • Overall fitment and appearance do not match the pre- • The pre-loss bumper, which—despite damage—maintained proper alignment and fitment. • The post-repair bumper, which now exhibits misalignment and visible gaps that did not previously exist. He stated that the aftermarket parts are what insurance companies recommend, but in this case these parts don’t align and have serious fitment issues.

The aftermarket plastic has gaps and fitment issues. The repair looks good but after looking at them there are a few issues.
