Originally the work for the bumper was scheduled to be completed in a week, I was only told about the delay when I was suppose to pick up the car. Although K&H did an excellent job on the bumper, the rear fender flare trim had a small gap. Although minor, we had to bring the car again to the shop for the rear fender flares to be fixed. This should have been detected if a QC was done before releasing the car.

Had a few minor blemishes upon completion. Contacted travelers first expecting some flack from K&H, and let me tell you how wrong I was. Owner calls me next day, sayin he personally will pick my vehicle up from my place of employment and fix these imperfections, and he was true to his word. Car is 100%. They also cleaned my front mats, cleaned the car, and put some tire shine on for me. Class act. Every car I smash is going to K&H from now on.

Rocco and staff were very nice , accommodating and professional . While my MB Cabriolet was at their business they “partially power washed “the factory, cream colored , convertible top . When I originally dropped the car off , I asked them to look at my convertible top , as it had some mold or or discoloring issues . In addition the rear convertible window seal, showed some signs of possible separation . They agreed to examine top and advise me . They called me after they examined the top and told me to stop at business and look at top as one of their technicians accidentally powerwashed the top .I was told the technician wasn’t supposed to power wash , only to inspect and report to supervisor . It was explained to me by Rocco , (my contact at shop) that their tech made a “mistake” and I needed to look at top ,,as he said …...it had more discoloration than when car was originally dropped off …for right side body repair . Rocco reiterated that mistakes happen , we were only trying to help and we-are sorry and apologize to you . I stopped at shop and noticed additional marks and discoloration of top . I didnt want, at this time,to purchase a new top ,however this car new in 2018 was priced at 175 k from M B Dealer . I have low miles , purchased new , New factory top ( if you can find one is over 13 k plus installation ,as quoted by MB Dealer . In all fairness , I put my car in protective custody and K and H , at the very minimum , should pay 1/2 for a new top . It was in their custody and care when the “mistake “ occurred . They are a good company and do “top quality work” I have used their services for years when I owned my own business. I am sorry this happened . I am 76 years of age and have my own health and financial problems now . I dont want the expense or aggravation, at this time of my life . Note :They did give me $1300. Off my $2500 deductible. K and H is considered a preferred collision /company for many insurance companies , including Chubb , thats is why I chose them for my damage repair . W.Y

This took a long time. I realize this was not the repairs shop issue as parts were not available. I did find that the repair costs were ridiculous. I cannot believe the parts cost that much money. Yes I have a deductible but as costs rise so do my rates.
