Great service. Appreciated the repair came in under estimate as it was affected without major disassembly.

I’ve trusted this shop for years and have generally had positive experiences, which is why this recent situation was especially disappointing. After a deer ran into my truck door, I brought the vehicle in for repair. From the outset, I made it clear to Eric that because it was winter, being without my truck was a significant hardship since I rely on it to plow my driveway. I explained that if the repair would not be a quick turnaround, I would prefer to wait until spring. I was told the repair would take approximately two weeks, with a worst-case scenario of three weeks, and that I would receive updates. However, I did not receive proactive updates and had to call in myself. During those calls, the front desk staff repeatedly patronized me and downplayed my concerns about the delay. When I eventually picked up my truck, the same dismissive attitude continued. The repair ultimately took longer than expected, and during that time I had to plow my 7½-acre property twice without my truck, which created a significant burden. When Eric later called, he said he hadn’t realized how serious the plowing situation was and stated that had he understood, he would have recommended waiting until spring. I reiterated that I had clearly communicated the urgency from the beginning. What was most frustrating was not just the delay, but the dismissive and ridiculing tone I experienced from the front desk staff. Snow removal on a property of this size is not a minor inconvenience, and it was discouraging to feel that my concerns were not taken seriously. Given my long history with this shop, I expected clearer communication, accurate timelines, and a more respectful customer experience. Additionally, I was disappointed to learn that a front sensor that appears to have been damaged in the deer incident — and has visible paint chipping — was not repaired or even addressed in the claim. From my understanding, this is a relatively minor repair (approximately $90). Given that this damage was related to the accident and the vehicle was already in the shop, I would have expected it to at least be discussed, evaluated, or presented to me as part of the repair process. This level of detail and thoroughness is what I’ve come to expect from Lamettry’s over the years. That oversight, combined with the communication issues and delays, is not consistent with the standard of service I’ve previously experienced.

I have had multiple (I believe 6?) car repairs done by Lamettrys with many of them over $10k in repairs yet you won't take a personal check from me is bad business. The insurance company paid me via EFT yet you want me to go back to the bank and get a cashiers check (and pay for it) to give to you. No way. Way too much hassle. Then your service advisor gets angry with me stating that since I am a regular customer that I should know your policies????? Seriously? In the past Auto Owners has always paid you directly with a check or given me a check written to both you and me. Ever hear of a mechanics lein? If you have problems with bad checks, that is a business problem, not a me problem. I'm out

Repair was fine. Completed as expected however the pickup experience left me with promise I will never be back and relay my experience to others
