Overall, we were very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship + the customer service. We have used them in the past and, if necessary, we'll use them in the future.

The body damage to the car was completely corrected. We were pleased with the results.

Customer Service

Although it took longer than expected, we were kept updated. We had the option of getting a rental that would have been covered by our insurance, so the delay was really not a problem.

My appointment was scheduled for January 6th. I was told the work would take 2-3 weeks. I started calling each week around the end of January to get updates. I learned that a technician wasn't assigned to my vehicle until January 16th. The following week I was told the technician was out sick and no work had been done on my truck. The following week, the technician was still out sick. The following week I was told that the technician was back but his rivet gun was broken and needed to be sent to be repaired, another 2 week delay. I asked if there was a spare rivet gun available and was told no. BTW a pneumatic rivet gun costs about $200. I was finally able to pick up my truck on February 25th, 50 days from the time I had dropped it of at Moody's. The new panel looks good however I noticed that the new panel hadn't been undercoated. I was told that I could make an appointment with Darlings to have the undercoating done at Moody's expense. I have an appointment scheduled on April 8th. Moody's should have told me that they were behind schedule so I could have had use of my truck until they were ready to assign a technician. Moody's should have assigned my truck to another technician when the first technician went out sick. Moody's should have spare tools on hand or at least purchased a second $200 rivet gun at NAPA just down the street rather than holding up my truck for another two weeks.

Customer Service

When I dropped off my truck on January 6th, I was told that Moody's would stay in touch with me throughout the process. I found that I had to call each week for an update. Teri was always polite and answered my questions. I received my first phone call update about a week before my truck was finished. Given the delays, I would have expected better commiunication.

I felt that two weeks of paying for a rental car while the car sat in the lot was unfair. I live 5 minutes away and could have had a call and been thee with the car a day before it was needed in the garage.

Dropped car of on 1/8 and later that evening came by to pick up some things my husband had left in my car that I needed, and 1/16 was written on the side window. I’m not sure but it seems like that was the date that your company was actually going to start working on it. The car was not done until 1/31, which is a long time. It would be nice if the initial estimate was more in depth so that when you take the vehicle, you have the parts you need and it happens faster. Luckily, I have rental coverage, but it’s inconvenient to use a rental car and you should take that into consideration. The rental was the same amount as the repair!!!!

The only thing that went wrong was the front left blinker wasn’t reconnected. Dropped the car off when running errands a few days later, and it was taken care of.
