What began as a dream long ago to own a shop has become so much more. Chris truly feels he has been given a platform to witness to customers and sow seeds of faith. Fixing cars is just a means for fulfilling God’s ultimate purpose. Growing up, Chris was always at his dad’s shop, Nelson Body Shop. He loved cars, especially customizing them to make them non-stock. He worked on and paid for every vehicle he owned. At a very young age, he dreamed of one day opening his own shop. Finally, in 2019, after 15+ years of making the drive to Mercedes Benz, he decided to take a leap of faith and become his own boss. With a dream and lots of prayer, Nelson Boyz Paint & Body was born. The business started in his dad’s old shop with his dad by his side. Chris quickly outgrew the space, and once again God provided. During the height of the pandemic, the perfect spot of land became available. By the grace of God, it was purchased at one-third of the original listing price.
