When doing the walk around for prior damage, mark the spots with the paint marker whilst the owner is there to concur the damage and annotated it on the diagram on the inprocessing estimate paperwork. Have the customer annotate the correct mileage on the paperwork themselves that way there is no misunderstandings when problems arise. Ensure that all windows are closed when not in use. My vehicle was basically brand new on the inside and was covered in shop dust and dried spray paint when I picked it up. Just cleaning the middle console area isnt enough when it looks like the moonroof was left open while spray painting and clearcoat was being applied in the same bay thereby leaving "shop dust and paint" all over a black leather interior. All of the mirrors, the seat and the steering wheel were set to a driver much larger than me....how far did you need to drive the vehicle from the shop? I decided to leave this comment because i noticed a few other customers wrote reviews with the same "dust covered interior" when they came to pickup their vehicles aswell. Everyone i spoke to was professional, nice and very accepting. After a few things that had to be "buffed out" upon inspection it guess I'm satisfied, though it slightly feels like my vehicle was taken for short cruise and smelled slightly like a vape which rendered the new car smell neutral.
