R&R Autobody was started by Ron and Jackie Nielson in the 1980’s on Mountain View Avenue. In 1991 the business was moved to its current location of 641 W University Way. Another change happened in 1997 when Ron and Jackie were ready to retire the business was sold to Tom and Sandy Morris. Tom was an employee of R&R Autobody for quite some time before the sale. In the early 2010’s Tom and Sandy, recognized the population growth in Kittitas County was going to cause a strain on our ability to provide timely repairs for our residents. In 2014, the decision was made to partner with the Abra Franchise group. During those ten years, Abra helped R&R Autobody build the insurance processing and workflow requirements in order expand capacity without sacrificing our quality or timelines to match the needs of our growing community. In 2021, Tyler and Mackenzie Morris then purchased the business from Tom and Sandy. Tyler is Tom and Sandy’s son, and has worked within the family business since 2011.

So far from what I've been thru. Will know for sure once all the warranty work is done on how much addition time and cost I will be out, ontop of the 25% markup they charged me out of pockets when I picked up my ride for paperwork after I already had a quote from 1 of the multiple subcontractors les schwab.

My insurance took my 23 blazer to a body shop when the was very minimal body issues. Primarily had front suspension drivetrain and transmission problems. Dissatisfied by the rep who told me that ny eyes were qrong and that the dust collected at the time of pick up was causing me to think that there was an orange peel effect in the paint job. Dissatisfied with the misalignment of my body panels. Dissatisfied with subcontracting my blazer to 4 shops with out my knowledge or concent. When there only needed to be no more than 2 shops beyond the body shop or 1 if the chevy dealer was used. Dissatisfied with lack of communication to the scope of work. Dissatisfied with the additional cost charged to my insurance for questionable work that possibly was unnecessary. Dis appointed i have to reachnout to subcontractef shops to schedule warranty work. Dissatisfied and disappointed for not standing behind the subcontractors slected after collecting a 25% markup for handling paper work, i should be provided a loaner car for the warranty work that needs to be done, so now I'm having to now pay for a rental car out of my pocket because my insurance rental time was burned up with delays that were never communicated with me but i found out on the final bill. We will see how the warranty goes with the paint job.if I will be able to change my opinion.

Receptionist was good but the claim rep wasnt. Lack of communications for scope of work, part choices, what subcontractors were used, delays for the job and price changes with additional fees without concent. Not to mention talking to me like I didn't have a clue on what parts, labor or quality of work should be. But little does she know of my background of automotive repairs, restoration and customizations.
