This past June we were involved in a car crash that rendered our car not drivable. We had expended money and effort to ensure that the car was well maintained. The insurance company immediately wanted to declare the car a total loss. We asked Shell Lake Auto body to examine the car and determine whether the car could be properly repaired for less than the cost of a total loss. and determined the car could be repaired to its former condition. The car was/is worth more to us than anyone else and we are very grateful to Shell Lake auto body for their efforts to return our car to us in excellent condition. Throughout the process of our car repair the people at Shell Lake auto body were helpful, kept us well-informed, supportive, and extremely professional. We used a rental while the car was being repaired and the ownership and employees at Shell Lake auto body worked diligently to repair our car as quickly as possible. They kept us informed with the progress and met the committed completion date. We know they are a business and want to make a profit. They exemplify how a business should be operated and are an asset to the community.

The staff at shell Lake auto body went over and above to make sure my vehicle was returned to me not only in a timely manner, but in pristine condition. All of the hill damage was repaired on my vehicle, the shop sent me text messages along the way notifying me of the status of my vehicle. Also, when I came to pick up my vehicle they had given it a very nice wash job and made sure that it was returned to me clean and ready to go.

Nobody wants to find themselves bringing their car to the body shop, but Shell Lake Auto Body makes it a painless and positive experience. They do exactly what and deliver exactly when they promise. They were friendly, professional, and obviously very competent. I hope to never see them again, but if the need arises that’s where I’ll be going.
