I recently had my vehicle repaired at this shop, and while the work itself appears to have been done well, the overall experience was affected by inconsistent communication. The repair timeline—from dropping the car off on 6/24 to picking it up on 7/21—was impressive given the need to work with insurance and order parts. I appreciate that the team got the job done within that window. However, I was dealing with this issue from out of state and really needed clearer, more consistent updates to coordinate travel, car rental, and other logistics. I was promised callbacks several times but often had to follow up myself when those didn’t happen. On the day I was told the car was ready, I arrived about 15 minutes after the shop opened, only to be told they needed another 15 minutes to bring the car out. After 20 minutes of waiting, I checked in again and was told the owner was reviewing something. Another follow-up revealed the owner had found an issue and needed another hour to address it. While I appreciate their attention to quality, no one came out to update me during that entire wait—I had to initiate every check-in myself. Overall, the quality of the repair seems solid, and I’m thankful the car was returned in good shape for the drive back to California. That said, improving communication—especially for out-of-state customers—would make a big difference.
