"This was my first time bringing my vehicle to this Toyota Collision Repair Center after my accident, and it will also be my last. I chose this location only because my insurance company, Wawanesa, had a contract with your facility, even though it required me to travel 44 miles. My vehicle remained in your shop for approximately two months for repairs, primarily involving the front driver-side wheel area. When I finally received my vehicle back, it required an alignment because the car was puling to the left despite the straight position of the steering wheel. the alignment repair never did happen because I refuse to bring it back to this repair shop. On the third day after getting the vehicle back—December 24th, during rain—my son was driving across the Coronado Bridge when a loud grinding noise suddenly began. He continued cautiously for a short distance until he was able to safely enter the Naval Base. Just as he attempted to park, the front driver-side wheel locked up completely. In the rain, his father and he inspected the wheel and discovered that all six lug nuts were loose and could be removed by hand. After removing the tire, they also found that one of the caliper bolts was missing, causing the caliper to come loose and grind into the rim, damaging it. We had been driving this vehicle for three days. This situation could have easily resulted in a catastrophic accident. The wheel could have come off while driving, or the wheel could have locked at freeway speed. My familys safety was put at serious risk due to clearly negligent workmanship. I trusted this Toyota Collision Center to repair my vehicle safely and professionally. Instead, my trust was violated, and my familys lives were endangered. I am filing this statement to document exactly what happened and to ensure this incident is taken seriously. This is not a minor mistake—this was a life-threatening failure that could have resulted in severe injury or death. I expect a full investigation, accountability, and immediate corrective action to ensure no other family has to experience something like this." Read less

Ok, so I wasn't COMPLETELY satisfied, but I was mostly satisfied. it took a little longer to get my car back than planned and they promised communication but that fell through (I was left on a Friday when they said they'd reach out to me if I'd be waiting until Monday but they didn't call). I also can't tell if it will look better after a proper wash, but the bumper replacement doesn't match the right panel (it matches the left because they had to repair and repaint) but that could be because it hasn't been fully washed/waxed and it'll look fine after I get it detailed (after the initial 30 day wait). There's also some smudges on the back seats that wasn't there before that will also have to be cleaned up. I assume the technicians were in the back of the car to move stuff around, but I couldn't say for sure. But other than that they were pleasant and the car is back in my hands and almost back to pre-collision.
