Updates were not initiated by Wittrock. Would have preferred consistency with the repair as one headlight is new and the other is original. Looks terrible and they repaired the whole front end. Also asked that they replace the missing hood hinge cover as it was missing after the accident. They did not replace that.

Overall, I feel they did the best they could with regards to Kia’s car part supply chain. We did appreciate that Wittrock delivered the car to the Kia Dealership in Des Moines to finish the repair process and we could pick it up there, instead of having to drive to Carroll and back, a distance of 4 hours total.

I live alone and it was difficult to find someone to drive me to the shop. I did find one person to pick me up but not to take me to pick up the car. The claim was made in June. August I called to see where I was on the schedule. They said I requested a loaner van while car was being repaired and they just didn’t have one available. I feel they could have notified me of this. I wondered how long it would have taken for them to get back to me, September, or October? I told them to just get it done. When the car was ready I walked the 3 miles to pick it up. I guess there is always a way but the lack of empathy startled me. Next year I am scheduled to buy a new car. I can tell you that Wittrock is not the car dealership I will be shopping at
