The contracted repair was completed exactly as quoted and the repair quality was excellent. Unfortunately there was also $600 in damage to the front bumper that was not quoted or discussed. I would have authorized that repair as well if I had been aware that it was not included in the estimate. This was a communication error on our part because we had asked that the truck be repaired to the extent that it would be drivable and operable. Apparently there was no specific discussion about the front bumper when my son-in-law dropped off the truck for an estimate and repair.
