I call it “bate and Switch”. Words are used to imply that the price is negotiable “wiggle room” if you do both jobs at the same time. When you go to pay, nothing is negotiable.

The only thing that was not ideal was that I had to call to get updates on how it was going and the timeframe of the service being completed. That could have just been my anxiety on making sure everything was okay and I called them before they could call me. Like stated before, getting a phone call sooner with an update would have been ideal, so I could make arrangements to pick up or get another day of a replacement car would have been helpful.
