While making repairs, you broke a perfectly good windshield. Your negligence directly caused a secondary financial loss to me of $962.86 in extra rental car fees while waiting for your mistake to be fixed. Even though the shipping speed of a new windshield from Germany was out of your hands, the need for that shipping is entirely caused by your careless handling of my property entrusted to your care. Had you exercised due care and not broken my windshield, that replacement part would not have had to be ordered; and I would not have faced a heavy financial loss. You totally failed your mutual bailment duty and responsibility.
