The work itself was fine, however I disliked the delays and poor communication. I understand that slow delivery of parts is not the fault of the shop owner. Yet he could have alerted me sooner about the delay and he could have provided much better updates without me needing to call him so often.

1) It took 3 weeks to get the appointment and then another 2 weeks to get a part for attaching my bumper and an extra day or 2 to get the bumper repainted because one of the mechanics accidently scratched it during assembly. 2) The body shop never called me with updates of when the parts were in, when the car would be done, or even the incident regarding the extra delay due to the need to repaint the bumper. I had to call them, sometimes every few days or daily for updates. I explained to Joe, the owner, that I felt like I was chasing after him for answers and he understood that he needed to communicate better.

Poor communication. The owner knew what parts were needed for the job. When did he order these? Did he order them at the time of his assessment and it took 5 weeks to get the part? He never explained this to me after the estimate...

Customer service was amazing. She was kind and understanding about the whole process from filing a claim, bringing in the car, getting a rental, and picking up. She made the whole process enjoyable even though the experience of needing repairs due to a crash was not what I wanted to worry about for a new car.

Las piezas no fueron totalmente nuevas y el diseño del frente cambió un poco, es diferente al que tenía. Me dejaron piezas anteriores en dentro de mi cajuela. Los faros están rayados, lo que quiere decir que no son nuevos son de segundo uso y para eso la aseguranza se supone que paga por piezas nuevas. Quedo bien la camioneta pero se ve diferente! Gracias
