I have never had to have my car worked on before but this has been the worst experience. The lack of communication from this company is ridiculous. I dropped my car off in late October. I received messages at first stating that my car was going to be ready on December 11. December 11th came and went and I got no communication as to what was going on with my car. I needed to call progressive (my insurance company) to find out the status of what was going on when the car. I was then given another date and of course the car was not ready and again no communication on that. I had to call to get information even though when I filled out the paperwork I checked that I wanted daily updates. Why have that as an option if it was not possible. I ended up having to rent a car on 2 separate occasions due to the lack of communication from this company. The day after I got my car back, my check engine light came on. I haven’t even drove 100 miles since I picked it up and now they are telling me that I have to take it to a mechanic and have the mechanic prove that is was something they worked on that caused the light to come on before they will do anything. The light was not on prior to them getting my car. I literally drove the car from their location to my house and the next day I started the car and the light came on. Considering that they had my car for roughly 2 months, I at-least expected the courtesy of them checking it out. But to have me have to take my car to a mechanic to prove that it wasn’t something they did rather than just check is upsetting.. Given the option if I ever needed work done to my car again, I would never go back to this place.
