In the late 1970’s, the company began to capitalize on its reputation for excellent customer service, and the result was impressive growth. Major additions and renovations at the State Road 15 location took place in 1978, 1983, and 1987. In January, 1996, the company relocated and opened a new, larger facility in downtown Leesburg. Continued growth and increase in customer demand drove Automotive Unlimited to purchase an even larger facility in Warsaw, Indiana, near US 30 and St Rd 15. Automotive Unlimited’s location is now a 3.5 acre campus with over 28,000 sq. ft. Over 40 years later, the company continues to be family owned and operated. Automotive Unlimited has also invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment, including computerized diagnostic tools, and requires each employee to take at least 16 hours of additional training per year.
