Repair to tailgate lifter was done correctly. But I was charged $511 for the job. I asked and was told it was 6 hours work but car was ready after being inside for 5 hours or less. Does mechanic charge $100/hour?

My car took way longer than it should have. Disorganized and kept telling us it was ready when it wasn’t- so we gave up our rental car and then had to drive back and forth from Ketchum to Bellevue more than once unnecessarily.
