It looks good, I just expected it to be fully finished. The Subaru emblem was not on the front grill- never put in the estimate. I didn’t know that wasn’t a part of the grill replacement. I also asked to be notified if there were repairs above the estimate. I picked it up and there was an extra $800 just in labor. I was paying out of pocket and this was a 40% increase over the estimate so that was disappointing that they didn’t let me know before.

There is some splatter on the hood. I will be in as soon as I can to have it removed. I came back when I picked up the Toyota but the only person I could find was painting in the booth. Other than the splatter the work done on my Toyota was WONDERFUL.

While I understand not wanting to order parts since the Insurance company states on the letterhead "All Supplements require prior approval" I am still distraught at how long this process is taking. It truly is NOT over. This is partially due to sending the wrong parts for the vehicle from the correct parts ordered and NOT wanting to order the parts due to repayment to you. I am the one who suffers regardless of what happens. They only pay a certain amount for rental reimbursement. The original estimate from Big Wood on December 4, 2024, stated everything that needed replacing/repairing, and yes the insurance did not pay/approve the fixing of the vehicle until January 4, 2025, which makes it difficult to have the car ready. They would not extend the rental beyond January 5, 2025, for me regardless of their negligence to not approve promptly. Big Wood was waiting for parts for over a week that every day I was told should arrive tomorrow and they did not. FInally, on Friday I told Jason regardless of the parts being delivered if they do not arrive I need the car put together Monday and I will pick it up. I was without a vehicle Saturday & Sunday because I could not keep paying out of pocket. I had used Bigwood for past auto body repairs and have always had great experiences. Today is Tuesday, January 14, 2025, and when I picked up the vehicle Monday afternoon a part was still on B/O and there were a few things I am NOT happy with about what was repaired on the vehicle. I paid the deductible and made sure to say I had Big Woods's word these imperfections would be fixed. Jason worked hard, no question about that. I honestly have never had an accident with a vehicle and had NO idea this process is the WORST!! You have great employees who do care about the customer and diligently try to work for the best on there behalf. stacy
