Going to explore new collisions center , got kinda soured when I had to find out at home that my receiver hitch was not changed and the adjuster agreed to put a new one on.

agreement was to replace receiver hitch , after I picked up and got it home I saw that they said no damage to receiver hitch . Instead they charged for prep and paint of the receiver hitch. The insurance adjuster agreed to replace with OEM receiver and caliber collision opted to say it was good(taking responsibility for any issue while towing)and painted over the powder coating which will not hold up. Also the prep and paint was cheaper , but the bill came out higher . Have never had any issues with this caliber collision center , but I may have to explore other places for collision repair in the future. I have alway been informed of any changesafter the agreement/repair start, not this time and for a higher cost?

Initial drop of was good , repair process fell off when change to original quote was agreed too and things we changed without my approval.

While I didn't have to return to Caliber, there was a small ding put into my driver's door that needed to be repaired after the initial repair. Thankfully, Caliber paid to have The Dent Doctor come to my work and repair it at no cost to me.
