It is not very likely I will recommend this shop. They got the job done and the customer service was pretty good but I’m still dealing with vehicle problems and I feel like there are better shops out there.

The body damage I received was fixed and my car looks normal again which I greatly appreciate. However my car was with Caliber Collision for over a month and as soon as I came to pick it up I had to bring it back immediately. When I drove over 30mph the car began to shake, when I brought it back to the shop they said they didn’t do anything with the wheels but something was clearly wrong. They called travelers and were able to get an alignment covered which I am grateful for and initially thought the problem was resolved. But as I was driving on a highway at a higher speed I realized that the car and my steering wheel began to shake fairly bad which leads me to believe something is still off with my car which is very frustrating after not having it for over a month. At this point I will probably not be returning to Caliber Collision. Travelers however has always been a great insurance company and always resolves any problems I have!

Everyone at Caliber Collision is as very nice and respectful. The only instance that I became frustrated with them is when I brought my car back to the shop immediately after driving it for probably 10 minutes stating that my car was shaking when I drove it. The person I spoke with said they didn’t do anything with the wheels but my car definitely did not shake before my accident meaning it happened as a result of the accident so I feel like it was pointless to bring that up. After my car being in the shop over a month I kind of expected everything to be right when I picked it up.

Caliber Collision returned the vehicle without completing any evaluation of potential damage to the vehicle’s suspension system (it was struck on the left front quarter panel and left front wheel). It seems this may have occurred because of a lack of communication between their accepting facility (Clifton Heights, PA) and their repairing facility (Hanover, PA). Regardless of the reason, the vehicle must be properly evaluated to assure safe operation and I have scheduled an appointment with a competent automotive mechanic for a proper inspection and evaluation of the vehicle’s suspension system. There are 2 issues that make this especially problematic: 1 – When I brought this issue to Caliber Collision’s attention, the response was hostile, to the point of explicitly accusing me of attempting to have a second collision repaired; although there was no second collision. There has been no offer to make things right or explain why work was not completed as promised in my meeting with the Caliber Collision adjuster on July 31. In that meeting, he explained that the suspension system would be inspected and the steering re-aligned given the nature of the collision and the obvious damage to the vehicle. After transport to a Caliber facility more than 2 hours away, a second adjuster did not contact me prior to proceeding with repairs to the vehicle. There is no evidence in the Caliber Collision invoice that an inspection and re-alignment was performed. 2 – When I picked up the vehicle, instead of a detailed review of the work completed, the encounter largely involved coaching on how to complete Caliber Collision’s post-repair survey to show favorable results. A favorable survey response is not possible as the vehicle examination and realignment, explained as normal processes, were not completed.
