Marco provided me with clear and concise information, so I was never concerned with time frames or how repairs were coming along. While I don’t look forward to a repeat visit, I would use no other for need repairs and will recommend to others.

The quality of the repair. Ethan really seems like a very nice person, and he was easy to work with. But the follow-ups were really quite lacking as indicated in the prior responses.

I am quite satisfied with work performed to repair damage to my vehicle. However, over the course of the interactions with the Caliber staff I several concerns are noted. I was initially referred to Caliber by my insurance company. I was interested in minimizing the time I would be without a car (or the time I would need to rent a car). I called the office to understand the process, and asked if the parts could be ordered in advance so that once I dropped off my car the work could be performed. The person I spoke with assured me that would be the way Caliber liked to work. I scheduled an appointment to evaluate the work to be performed. I was assigned to Ethan. He told me that he doesn’t like to order parts in advance because they come very quickly, and that even with ordering parts once the car was dropped off, he estimated they would only need the car for 1 or 2 weeks. I said ok, and we subsequently set a date to drop off the car. When I arrived, Ethan again said they would need the car for 1 – 2 weeks. While we were checking the car in, Ethan and I noticed some damage that was not related to the initial for which I had filed an insurance claim. I asked Ethan if Caliber would repair that damage also. Ethan turned me over to one of the women in the front, and we reviewed the paperwork. She specifically pointed out on the paper where they was damage that would not be covered by the insurance claim. I understood. I asked the woman (not Shiloh, but the other woman in the front office) if they would give me an estimate for the additional work. She gladly said yes; Ethan would be in touch with me. Periodically, I received texts (up to and including December 10) saying the car would be ready on December 12. On Friday morning, December 12, I get a text saying Caliber needed an extra business day to finish the work, and the car will be ready on Tuesday, December 16 – which is 2 business days. On Tuesday, December 16, I text Ethan and asked for an estimated completion. I get no response. I call the office and learn that Ethan is out, and the car is not ready, and they are waiting on a part. On Wednesday, Ethan calls me to apologize for the delay. He says the car will be ready on Thursday (December 18). On Thursday, I arrive to pick up the car and Chad shows me my car. The work that was performed looked great, but there was no attention to the additional damage I had asked to be repaired. Chad has no idea why I wasn’t given an estimate or why the work was not performed. He’s sympathetic to my situation and quickly did does an estimate. I appreciated that! He also said that for the inconvenience, they will arrange a rental at no cost to me. Chad said he’s put that offer in my file. Chad suggests that when I want to do the work I let them know and they will pre-order the part to minimize the repair time. That’s what I was told the first time on the phone, and then Ethan said otherwise. Your customer is understandably confused! So, here are few things to work on: - Be consistent about the process of pre-ordering parts - When you say you’ll provide an estimate, provide an estimate! - When you say the car will take 1 to 2 weeks, don’t wait until the final to say you need another day, which was really 2 days, which turned into 4 days.
