Capital Auto is an I-CAR GOLD CLASS collision repair facility. The shop has been serving the Fairfax, Northern Virginia and the greater DC metro areas for over 30 years. In 2021 ownership changed which led to a complete overhaul of the business including a top to bottom office renovation, new equipment, improved processes, new talent and the commitment of ongoing education and training, which transformed us into one of the most modern, efficient and competent collision repair shops in the DC area. Our goal is to provide top of the line repairs, customer service and overall experience. We use top of the line paint products to match our ambition for excellence. We promise to bring your vehicle to its pre-loss condition in appearance, safety and functionality, while minimizing the hassle that comes with being involved in an accident.

My passenger side window makes a clicking noise that wasn't there prior to repair.

I was frustrated with the lack of communication for backordered parts and poor communication about delays. I tried calling the shop number on the website and when it went to VM, I could not leave a message because the mailbox was full. My car was in the shop for over 3 weeks. I received a text 3 days after I picked up my car saying I would receive status updates. It would have been nice to at least know what to expect so I can plan, but I was never informed of any delay until I'm the one who called on the days I was told my car would be done.

I am very grateful to Krum and his team for the high quality work on my little Mazda Miata. Krum is incredibly professional and very polite. He helped me with my rental car as well and above and beyond to deliver a great customer service. In the event i need auto body work I will use the Capital Auto again.
