Because dodge discontinued a stock tailgate cap which came on the truck in 2011. I had to continue to utilize the damage unit in order to keep moisture out of the truck bed. This is not the faulted of superior however and they did try to resolve the issue but was not successful.. I will try replacing the old cap once I get back to California

Only concern was the tailgate cap which does not allow space for camper shell to seal weather out truck bed. Only solution was to re-using the old damaged cap at this point in time after visiting with superior truck in Gladstone.
