I have been taking all my new cars to Pride Auto Body in Van Nuys for years but this time my old 2008 Acura needed a minor fender bender repair and since Central Valley Auto Body is only a block away from my house, I decided to give it a try. Not a positive experience this was my first and definitely my last time doing business with CV Auto Body. It’s was simple fender bender job yet they done very sloppy job on my car and to make matters worst my front bumper picked up a new scratch while my car was with them. They agreed to repair the scratch on the bumper. This is second pick up and turn out they didn’t install the front bumper properly I had to bring the car back the third time to had the front Bumper resetting. after the third visit got the car back home the next morning I did a close-up inspection and noticed a group of small bubbles on the new paint and also new small scratches all over the front bumper. To be honest at this point I was too upset to bring the car back for the forth time. I am too afraid if I bring my car back to them it will pick up more new scratches. Not a positive experience in anyway in my opinion At the time I am writing this review I’ve informed Allstate Insurance about my experience with CV Auto Body and suggest Allstate to never approve CV as a direct body shop for Allstate’s clients I blame myself for not taking the car to Pride Auto Body.

I will never go back there. I will also tell everyone I know not to go there. The worst body shop I have ever been. The only reason I tried this shop because it’s only a block away from my house. Yup, it was a real bad decision.

Ultimately, it all worked out. I did feel I had to hound them to make sure the car was ready on time. Dropping it off on Tuesday with no work done until Thursday afternoon means I could not use the car for an extra two days. But these are tough times so I try and cut everyone some slack.
