This body shop was generally very professional. Initially, I had some issues getting an evaluation on the damages. I went in without an appointment and one of their hail contractors versed in hail repair damages gave me an estimate which I took to my insurance company. My imsurance company submitted that estimate but when I went back to get the car scheduled, they told me they had no record of my vehicle having been seen by them. Eventually, we were able to discern what had happened. I returned the following week for a comprehensive hail repair estimate which included several other things. Once this estimate was completed and submitted to My insurance company for review, my car was scheduled in for repairs a few weeks later.

The car repairs due to hail damage appear to have been done in a professional manner. These took an extra day due to the volume of repairs scheduled in the area. I still haven’t had time yet to look the repairs over completely. The majority of these were on the roof, and I am short and unable to see the roof without hauling a ladder out onto my driveway. Hopefully, moving forward, my car doesn’t take on any additional internal water damage. Previously, February - March 2025, I had issues with my hybrid battery. The car, a 2015 Lexus RX450h, currently only has about 140,000 miles on it; previously it had 134,650 miles on it when the hybrid battery started to go out. The battery completely died at 135,724 miles. Once the car was towed in, and the rear seats were taken out to access the battery, and the battery was opened up, it was discovered that H2O was pooling in the battery itself, albeit, no noticeable direct cause for this could be uncovered. It was believed that this might possibly have been due to the sunroof drains being plugged up but the floor was dry and there was no clear evidence of the drains being plugged up. Also, there was no evidence of other leaks around struts on the rear hatchback either. Final conclusion was that possibly due to the wide fluctuations in the local temperatures over the past year, that condensation merely occurred on the inside of the battery case as well. There was some evidence to support this theory as there was minimal corrosion anywhere on the inside of the battery compartment and the battery continues to charge to its maximum capacity once these repairs were finally made. Hopefully, these recent repairs due to the hail damage will not result in any new issues with my hybrid battery either in terms of water coming into my vehicle.
