Totally Dissatisfied! I initially dropped off the car on June 3, 2026 hoping to have crash champions address the issue of the drain valves being clogged and the water damage inside the vehicle as a result of the clogged drain valves. When I first dropped off the car, I spoke to a service tech who went over with me what would be done to address the standing water in the car. Before dropping the car off, I understood that our insurance will not cover the cost of replacing or unclogging the drain valves. However, our insurance would cover the damage caused by the water that resulted from the issue. So we wanted to get a quote and know how much it would cost to fix both issues, the damage that resulted from the water coming in (covered by our insurance) and a price to fix the cause of the issue, which was the clogged drain valves (Not covered by our insurance). Stay with me now. The Service tech explained to me a plan to address the issue of the standing water and wet carpet, which involve removing the carpet to clean and dry it thoroughly. He told me that this method had a 50-50 success rate of eliminating any mode or mildew odors. He said that in the case, this method was not successful then and only then will our insurance approved replacing the entire carpet. So we were under the impression that this is what was going to be done to the car. We received an estimated date of completion being June 11, 2026. It wasn’t until June 10 that we were notified that the service tech that was supposed to be working on the car have been out sick, and someone else was taking over the project however there was no notes or no sort of relay from one tech to the other. I had to go back out to the shop and explain to them when needed to be done. My car has been sitting there in their possession for a week and no work has been done. So on my second trip out to the shop to explain to them what needed to be done all over again I explained to them the issue and what concerns were. I was sure to explain that our main concern was addressing the source of the problem, which meant either replacing or unblocking the drain plugs or valves, and eliminating any water and moisture that was inside of the car under the carpet as a result of the clogged valves. I even showed the tech this time under the flap on the front passenger side carpet where you can clearly see water under the carpet. After this, we were given a new estimated time of completion of June 19, 2026. On the 19th we were notified the car still will not be ready since they were waiting for a part to be delivered. It wasn’t until the 24th that we were notified that the car was ready for pick up. I picked up the car the following day on the morning of the 25th. However, After driving it, I begin to notice the car had a mildew or mold like odor. Once I got the car parked, I was able to fully examine the car and once I was able to look under the flap the front passenger side carpet that allows you to see the serial number on the frame, I discovered that there was still a lot of water sitting under the carpet. It was so much water under there that there is no way they could have taken the carpet out, cleaned, and dried it before we picked the car up. So at this point, I’ve dropped the car off back at their service shop on the 26th and have been without a vehicle or rental since then. This makes 26 days our vehicle has been in their possession with water sitting between the carpet and frame in this heat.

When it comes to customer service, they’re pretty good. The reception team is really good and even help with transportation via Uber is considerate. I can’t give them a 10 because I believe that part of the vehicle service and repair team plays apart in customer service. So when the repair team or vehicle service team cuts corners or they are late on and expected completion date all that affects customer service. For instance, I shouldn’t be without a rental right now or without a vehicle, but I am. That’s customer service. So I will grade their customer service score on two parts one part being the reception team and how they help the customer. On a scale of one to five I will give them a five. Now on the vehicle service or repair site as part of this air customer service I have to give them zero because I feel that they are cutting corners, and not communicating well enough what exactly is being done and when we can expect it to be done. Of all the time that our car has been in their shop the price of the rental has exceeded what our insurance has paid us for a rental so we’ve been paying out-of-pocket for all these extra days which is costly on the customer. Crash champions hasn’t done anything to help us with that when it comes to getting the insurance to give us more days or helping us with a rental. So I had to return the rental and have just been without a car for now.

The work was done well and I like the fact that the work is guaranteed. I did not like that I was given at least 3 estimated completion dates. I’m a pretty busy person so it made things confusing.I Geico emailed me with a date and I was getting texts from Crash Champion with a different date !
