CARSTAR Shafer's Collision has been in business for 27 years in Avon,Indiana (46123). Effective September 5, 2017, we relocated and expanded our facilities. Our new location is 1475 East Main St, Danville, Indiana (46122). This is only eight miles from our previous location and still within the physical market area we've served for almost three decades. We are blessed that our customers are thrilled with easier access, brighter facility and more than ample parking. In our larger facility we've added an additional new frame rack as well as a new, remarkably efficient paint booth which both compliment and enhance our already excellent cycle times. Our paint system is eco-friendly which we understand is a growing concern for all insurers, too. We have also introduced National Transferable Lifetime Warranty which is licensed and bonded by the NTLW. Shafer's Collision Center is the only repair facility within a 50 mile radius with exclusive rights to provide this benefit to our clients.

The service from the gentleman who runs the place or owns it was amazing. However the service took way too long over a month and a half to get my truck back. I had to go back because one of my tail lights didn't work after the repair. My fuel door where I pump my gas had rivets around it and now there's several missing it is now has a spot that is sticking out away from the body. And the color of the paint does not match the rest of my body by at least a tone or two. I also found a part that goes to something in the back floorboard of my truck but I have no idea what it goes to. Front office customer service was good repair services and job not satisfactory.

Overall I know during the holidays it just was a setback and the weather getting the parts for my vehicle to repair it. However communication could have definitely been better. The owner was amazing though I cannot say enough about how nice he was and because it took so long for them to have gotten my vehicle done he gave a big discount on my deductible. And for that I thank you very much
