I brought my vehicle in after an accident and clearly explained that it had been idling rough ever since the collision and was getting worse. I was dismissed and told the only issue found was a low voltage code from a scan. After continuing to have problems, I took the vehicle to my mechanic and learned the motor mounts were actually broken from the accident. What’s frustrating is that this could have been discovered with a basic visual inspection under the hood instead of relying solely on a scan tool. The most disappointing part of this experience was not just missing the issue, but the lack of concern when I tried to explain what was happening with the vehicle. Customers know when something feels wrong with their car, and those concerns Ishould be taken seriously. I expected better communication, better troubleshooting, and a more thorough inspection from a professional body shop.
