I was a bit frustrated at a couple instances of lack of communication. I was told that my car would be looked at the following day, and while I assumed I'd receive a call giving an estimate on time for repair, I did not. It wasn't a big deal then as my wife and I are both working from home and I could use her car. The Monday of the 2nd week, I did call to inquire, and was told that it would be by the end of the week. I was in meetings all day that Friday, and at 3:30 received an email that my car was ready "early (even though I was promised by the end of the week - so this was last minute, not early), and that he'd tried to call but got a busy signal. I found later that the number on file was our old landline number, which State Farm must have had in their system. I also learned, however, that my cell number was also in your system, and could have been used to call me. I finished work at 4:30 that day, and tried several times to call the shop to let them know I was headed that way. My wife and I arrived at about 4:45 to find that the shop was closed, even though business hours are listed as open until 5:30. We had family in town that weekend, and not having my car then ended up making things much more difficult. Had communication been better overall, and the business maintained advertised hours, my weekend would have gone much smoother with family in town. Overall, I'm very easy-going and didn't mentioned when picking up my car, though since my feedback has been solicited, I want to be honest so you're aware and can hopefully ensure communication with customers in the future is better.
