Eagle Body Works is a family-owned business in Greenville, South Carolina. Owners, Dan & Carol Doot, with sons Chris and Daniel, along with the staff bring over 50 years of Automotive Expertise to the Upstate. Dan was born in the business, learning the trade while working in his father's body shop as a young kid growing up. Dan would later transfer his skills to implement collision and paint repair departments for both Mercedes-Benz and BMW of North America corporate offices. He would complete a 30-year career by designing and managing the vehicle repair department at the BMW Performance Center, located in Upstate South Carolina. Unfortunately for Eagle Body Works (and I understand that it may not even be their fault), their labor rates are higher than some insurance companies are willing to pay, resulting in an out of pocket expense for an accident that was not my fault. Having to pay for that definitely makes the overall experience negative, even if the fault lies with the insurance company. I would want to warn anyone that I refer to Eagle that they may be left paying the difference in cost, and that would probably deter most people from using them.
