My car was dropped off at Ed's on September 4. I would call Ed's once a week for updates on my car & Karen would tell me I'd recieve a phone call from their mechanic Dave. On October 1st I received a phone call from Dave telling me he had barely looked at my car & he had to order the parts for my vehicle. He was extremely rude & sarcastic when I would ask him questions in regards to my car being finished with all repairs. I expressed to him that this vehicle was my only form of transportation & I couldn't keep paying for a rental. He stated "if he knew the date to my car being done that would make him a fortune teller & he'd use his power to play the lotto & not have to work anymore. " Dave also stated that for the amount of money i had invested in my rental I could've bought myself a cheap vehicle to have while he fixed my car. I told him I had expected my car to be at Ed's for 3 weeks. He stated my car was the easiest vehicle he had to fix. On the report Ed's would send to my insurance they stated it would take 3 days to repair my vehicle. Dave's comments were truly uncalled for. I received a phone call from Karen on Oct. 14 & she told me my vehicle was ready to go. I told her due to work I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Oct. 16. On Oct 16 I picked up my vehicle & I realized when I dropped off my car on September 4th my odometer read 75,560 & when I picked up my car from Ed's my vehicle read 78,078. I also noticed that Ed's mechanics failed to reconnect my high beam lights after fixing my vehicle. I am beyond dissatisfied with their service & will also be submitting a report to the Bureau Of Automotive Repairs. I believe Ed's Collisions should be investigated for insurance fraud.
