To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to raise serious concerns about the quality and completeness of the repairs performed on my vehicle under the claim associated with your insured. According to the repair facility, they were only instructed to address damage on the driver’s side of the vehicle. As a result, several critical issues remain unresolved, and the overall quality of the work does not meet professional standards. The following items are of particular concern: The steering on the driver’s side has over an inch of play, which presents a significant safety issue and renders the vehicle unsafe to drive. The hood was repainted without properly preparing the surface. A small damaged area—less than the size of a quarter—was not filled or sanded before painting, resulting in a visibly subpar finish. This could have been corrected with minimal additional effort. The passenger-side mirror, which was visibly destroyed in the collision, was not replaced. Pieces of the broken mirror remain inside the vehicle. The lower fog light on the driver’s side is loose and appears to be improperly secured. I was also informed that the vehicle was sent for an alignment. It is difficult to understand how a professional technician could perform or attempt this service without noticing the excessive play in the steering. This raises additional concerns: was the issue overlooked or ignored during the process, or was a post-repair test drive not completed? A problem of this nature should have been immediately recognized and addressed. Given these concerns, I would appreciate a thorough reassessment of the vehicle to confirm that all damage resulting from the collision has been properly evaluated and repaired, and to ensure that it is safe to operate. I am scheduled to drop the truck off on the 21st and am hoping for better results.

The damaged right rear wheel is still bent in, not at 90 degrees to the ground like the other wheels and like on all other RAV4s. I am concerned that this may cause a problem for uneven tire wear and possibly for some high speed maneuvers.

Scheduling was multiple months after the incident. Once finished I had to bring the vehicle back to have overspray cleaned off (not a big deal but I live 45 minutes away). The shop was accommodating with that. I had to call multiple times to make sure the car was finished when they said it would be.
