"So, where do I begin. I am not angry. I just think it is important to address difficult situations as a matter of fact. I had three things that went wrong. Number one, after I pick the car up I noticed that it was very difficult to open the trunk. Number two, the trunk release on the inside left door now did not work. So, I was told that the key to the trunk to turn an open it had nothing to do with the accident that it was being repaired for. I then showed the people there as I opened the trunk how close the dent was that they fixed to the trunk lock. They were just a few inches apart I had a picture from the accident report and showed them. Then, I was told that the switch on the trunk release button inside of my car was burnt out and that that had nothing to do with the accident. I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I again stated that I cannot pick up a car worse than how I left it. I firmly disagreed with their assessment and told them that yes there was something they could do they could fix it. Magically, when the car was given to me, the trunk was working better and also, somehow, the burnt out switch was not burnt out anymore and it actually opened the trunk. So, I am disappointed with the false excuses that were made. The switch was not burnt out. The lock is working better. I think that the people that work in the back that actually fix the cars are under a lot of pressure and they have to fix things fast and pass them on. My car is over 20 years old and only had $1,003 worth of damage and I think it was not on the high priority list. Somehow the person in the back messed with both of the lock and the switch and they magically got better in a few minutes. The information that I was told in the office was wrong, as seen and the results that after they spent just a few more minutes with it, both the trunk and the latch worked perfectly as they did before the accident. I wonder how that happened Yes I am being sarcastic, which does not help, but nevertheless, to put it plainly, I had a shoddy repair and was given the mumbo jumbo excuse by the office. If it would not have been for my persistent questioning and analyzing of the situation, I would have been told the wrong information by the office and nobody in the back would have fixed the issue. So there you have it. I am an honest person and I always tell the truth. I chose gator Collision out of all of the places because I had a good experience the first time I went. I will never go back, as that is the only way that I can let them know that they need to improve. They should feel ashamed of themselves for giving my car back like they did. The third thing that I discovered upon arriving home is that they sat in my seat on the driver's side and somebody had a pen and now I have an ink spot on my seat. It was not there before and now it is there. My wife and I are retired and we do not carry pens in our back pockets. What a complete mess for a very simple fix." Read less
