I'm not entirely convinced to trust Gerber collision for a friend or family member because the service I first received was really bad. After everything was straitened out I got what I wanted out of my car but it took over 5weeks. And I was without my car the whole time

Couple of things to fix, missed some of the paint job along with a part that was supposed to be replaced initially.

I understand that this Gerber is going through a lot of change which caused it to become rather backlogged. But still it was a VERY long time for our van to be gone. Also, the car doors that were replaced are persnickety now and never were before. Sometimes I have to open it and close it again extra hard to make sure it's closed. And (this may be imagined) but it still seems like more air is getting in than there should. I probably won't use Gerber again.

It's possible all collision centers are this backlogged and take this long. The shop did good work. ONce I got the van back the 2nd time, it was great. I like that they took that initiative to correct the persnickety doors. That really helped how I felt about the shop.

One time I came in per business hours to sign paper work needed and no one was there. I waited 20 minutes and no ones showed up. I was given an expanation later, however, that does not change the fact that there was no one there when there should have been OR a sign on the door OR a msg when calling the office. Otherwise, our customer service was great.
