I was told my car was going to be fixed the right way. We fought with the insurance company and they wouldn’t fix all the damage that was done in the accident. So we reached out to the company that hit me and they said they will send a check to have my vehicle fixed the right way. Got it back today and they only did what the insurance company would agree on even after we called them and told them we are not going through the insurance company because the company that hit me wanted it fixed the right way and they didn’t listen to us. Also my husband was going to pay extra to have my car detailed and was told no we do that. It was so not detailed and only vacuumed out. I want my car fixed the right way and not half ass. So not happy..

In my humble opinion I would rather make everything right. At 55 years old I’ve had my share of problems with damage to vehicles. I have a lifelong friend who owns a body shop too far away for me to have gone to him. But I know his quality of work and he would never have let this fly in his shop. He’d rather take a little extra time to fix things right.

I took my relatively new and expensive truck to be fixed after a turkey hit the front. They fixed the damage but I had a few small rock chips. Maybe 2-3 not far from where the turkey hit was. Instead of filling the chips they left them and painted over them. Why wouldn’t you make it right? Now I know this may seem like a small detail but if I came to your house to fix a bad wire I work for the local phone company. The wire is 30 feet long on the outside of your home but only 10 feet is bad. So I just cut the 10 feet out and replace it with new wire leaving the old wire in place. Now you have two pieces outside it’s gonna look terrible. Functional but terrible. I’d bet anything you would call and complain.
