Super happy we found Gerber Collision in Troy! We needed to replace the engine cradle on Mom’s car due to rust that had developed on it. After getting multiple estimates elsewhere & doing a lot of research, we were about to contract with a shop we found out of town, but I was still hoping for something in Troy where we live if we could find a price Mom could afford. Since Gerber is new in Troy, I didn’t even know about them until the date I stopped in to ask about getting an estimate. Everyone there was super nice, and the mgr., Nick, was patient in discussing the issue and very knowledgeable about the particular cradle situation we were dealing with. He called his supplier(s) that afternoon, found a suitable new OEM part that was less expensive than a different version we had been considering previously, and emailed me an estimate that same evening. The price for the part and labor was very reasonable and saved Mom a lot of money over the other estimates we had received, & Nick promptly answered follow-up questions by phone and email. Gerber started work the same day that we were scheduled to drop off the car, and we had the car back the next day, with the work completed at the quoted price. They even washed the car before we picked it up and backed it into the parking space so Mom could just drive away without needing to back up! Mom & I appreciated the affordable pricing, prompt communication, & the special attention from the Gerber staff. Since I’m writing this the day after the repair, Mom hasn’t had the car back for long, but Gerber has a good warranty and hopefully all will be well. We are pleased with our experience!

I would most definitely recommend the Troy Gerber location to friends and family. I hadn't heard of it before our experience (luckily no collision repair needed before). But Gerber in troy was the first on the preferred list from my insurance. So happy with my choice
