My car got totaled and communication and update was very poor with body shop. They keep pssing me on to insurance.

No updates was given even when I called the body shop. They keep referring me to the insurance company . My car was totaled and didn’t even know about it until >72hrs from the time the car was taken in. I feel like my car was hostaged since insurance and body shop had decided it was unsafe to drive.
